Layne Zuelke is one of only 50 Firearms Engravers Guild of America Certified Master Engravers with over 30 years experience at the bench, Vice President of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America, and the owner of Southern Custom Engraving studio in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. You’ll fine in depth tutorials on all aspects of gun, knife, watch and jewelry engraving. Everything from basic subjects to advanced techniques using all manner of equipment will be covered. The channel was started in an effort to provide authoritative, in depth information on a craft that for centuries was learned only by exhaustive self discovery or by long apprenticeships. While these videos cannot replace formal study under a qualified instructor, they will serve to fill in the gaps and unlock some of the mystery behind the fine art of hand engraving.
